Delipap, Finland’s sole diaper manufacturer, has introduced Moomin Baby Snap Pants. While the product is initially available only to the Finnish market, plans to expand into additional countries are underway.

The result of years of development, the snap pants are an innovative, reclosable pull-up diaper designed to combine the convenience of a pull-up with the adjustability of a taped diaper. They are replacing Moomin’s standard pants diaper line.   

In addition to the hybrid design, the diapers are made from 100% FSC-certified chlorine-free cellulose from Finnish forests and contain 0% perfume, lotions, latex, formaldehyde or phthalates.

During the past year, Delipap has scaled up a completely new production line, solving many challenges, at its factory in Tammisaari. Representing a reported €10 million investment, the ultrasound-based diaper production line is the first of its kind in Europe. Delipap also operates a facility in Veikkola dedicated to feminine hygiene products.
